Business Advisory Council
The Business Advisory Council (BAC) was established in 1979 to support and enhance the business environment in Silver Spring Township. Its primary role is to assist the local business community by identifying challenges, recommending effective strategies, and implementing programs that promote business growth and sustainability. The BAC works closely with the Board of Supervisors to ensure the business community's needs are met and issues are addressed promptly.
Objectives of the BAC
The BAC focuses on several key objectives:
Identifying Business Challenges: The BAC works to identify common issues faced by businesses in the township and develops strategies to address them.
Promoting Business Growth: By recommending plans and programs, the BAC aims to foster a thriving business environment that encourages growth and sustainability.
- Community Engagement: The BAC serves as a liaison between the business community and local government, fostering open communication and collaboration.
